Vehicle Tracking & Recovery

In the event of a theft, this system will be able to trace your vehicle's exact location. All you have to do is to inform our Secure Operating Centre (SOC) or confirm the theft of your vehicle when the SOC calls you for theft verification – the authorities and a response team will be dispatched to recover your vehicle immediately. This system contains the following features:

• Alarm Alert: (Depending on the compatibility of your vehicle alarm system for TQ/TQi/T5 models, Standard for T5A.) Check with any Connex Authorised Dealer for system compatibility.
  
  If your alarm has been triggered, you will immediately receive an alert. Our SOC will call you to verify if your vehicle has been stolen.
  
  
  
• Battery Alert
  
  If your battery has been removed or the power for the SVR System has been tampered with, you will immediately receive an alert. Our SOC will then call you to verify if your car has been stolen. In addition, if your battery is low on power, an alert will be sent to you.
  
  
  
• Movement Sensor
  
  If your vehicle is moved while the ignition is still off, an alert will be sent to you. Our SOC will then call you to verify if your car has been stolen.
  
  
  
• SVR System Device Alert
  
  If the GPS antenna of the SVR System device is tampered with, you will immediately receive an alert. Our SOC will then call you to verify if your car has been stolen. In addition, if the SVR System back-up battery is low on power, an alert will be sent to you.
  
  
  
• Engine Immobilisation
  
  Should your vehicle be stolen, this feature will immobilise your engine once your car engine is off.
  
  
  
• System Health Check
  
  Regular system health check is performed between the Connex Telematics server and the SVR System device – if the device in your vehicle is not performing, you will receive an alert. Please contact our SOC to have your SVR System checked at any Connex Authorised Dealer.
  
  
  
• Enhanced Safety: Automatic Driver Recognition (Standard for T5, Optional for T5A models)
  
  The Automatic Driver Recognition card (ADR) is a discreet pocket-sized card that you carry with you whenever you drive your vehicle. On leaving your vehicle, the system automatically arms itself.
  
  If your ignition is turned on without the ADR card, an alert is immediately sent to you. Our SOC will then call you to verify if your car has been stolen. This means that even if your car is taken using your own keys, the theft is detected automatically. It does not matter whether your vehicle alarm system has been disabled or sabotaged. If your vehicle is driven without the ADR card, you will receive an alert followed by a call by our SOC.
  
  In addition, if the ADR card battery power is low, you will also receive an alert to have the battery replaced.
  
  This ADR card is available at all Connex Authorised Dealers in Peninsular Malaysia.
