Anti-Theft Systems
Car theft is a rewarding business and a low risk crime. Cobra's approach to theft issues is based on the observation of the methods used by thieves and the development of specific solutions to warn them off:
Theft from the car and theft of wheels: a wide range of sensors guarantees the perimetric and volumetric protection against non-authorised intrusions in the vehicle, whilst the level monitor protects against theft of car wheels;
Car jacking: the alarm is triggered after the driver has been forced out of the vehicle with the engine running. The alarm is delayed so the driver is at a safe distance away from the car-jacker before the siren blasts. This feature also immobilises the engine.
Home jacking: a code must be entered every time the vehicle gets started. This feature prevents someone who has stolen the car keys and remote control from running away.
